Better than the Apple Store
They wanted to take my old iPad 8th gen in order to get an exact replacement for nearly $300. Then I found this. I don’t have to give my older iPad and I paid much less. Can’t get any better. Glad I found this loophole. It’s perfect. I use it for school and for my writing group throughout the week. $220 is a blessing of a deal for a brand new iPad! 9th gen too!

Top notch product especially for the price.Very powerful vibrations (10 different settings) with amazing battery life (larger size than similar toys) might be the reason I have yet to charge it even after multiple sessions of use.Enjoyable addition to my naughty toy collection.

I replaced my mom’s iPad with this one. I thought that is was smaller and it is, but the screen is absolutely the same size. It weighs less than 1/2 of her old one. All in all, a very good buy.

Appealing colors, format
Bought this iPad for its reputation, as a senior wearing glasses the large size, fonts are comfortable. Reading books on the kindle, searching on safari is a plus. Wish I had bought one years ago! Love my ipad

Still a great deal on a good device
It may be an older edition of the iPad, but for my purposes, it’s still excellent. I like having the option of using plug in headphones and this has a jack for them. I also still enjoy the button at the bottom with fingerprint accessibility.The price was good, and the value for this older but still good device made it a no-brainer.Changing settings from my prior model 5 to this model 9 was easily done, with a few needed added passwords for some programs. Otherwise, the cross setup was easy, and I’m delighted with this purchase.

Brand new out of the box cellophane wrapped with a brick and charging card for 199, cmon
Ok I am buying one for every member of my family before they run out. Apple stopped making them this year so finite supply. These are not refurbished they are brand spanking new never used. Plus they come with charging block and lightning charge cord! For $199, free two day delivery! How can you not buy this?

Great decision!
It was between the iPad & pencil and the Samsung Tab with S pen to make my digital planner productive. I tried to used my Chromebook Flip as a tablet with pen, but regardless of settings could not make palm recognition work nor draw on screen with hand touching tablet. Very aggravating…. I am glad I chose this iPad. Fast response, beautiful graphics, easy to use!! Apple customer for life now!!!!

if youre unsure about getting an ipad i suggest you get one anyways
i have never owned an ipad before. but i wanted one because moving my laptop would be cumbersome and using my phone tires my eyes as the screen is too small.i got this for the purpose of watching movies in bed, but i find myself using the calendar, using quick notes, and surfing the internet.the battery lasts a long time. its a lot easier to read on an ipad than it is on a phone.i got a generic stylus pencil from aliexpress and it works fine with the ipad. i like apple but 80 dollars for a glorified stylus is kinda ridiculous.the price may be a deciding factor but you cannot buy this model in stores anymore (to the best of my knowledge) and apple products (FROM THE APPLE STORE) on amazon tend to be cheaper than physically in store. you can still get apple care.i will be using this for textbooks as well. i do not have a keyboard but i like writing with the pencil. maybe one day ill get a keyboard but at that point if youre doing all that then i suggest you get a chromebook or a smaller macbook.i do not feel like the ipad would be good for anything extensive but thats just my opinion. my needs are very basic.when i want to make music i use my computer because its easier to see waveforms on the monitor. i feel like trying to make music on an ipad would be difficult.if you get a renewed ipad from a seller that is not directly from the apple store, you might get a defective product. i did trying to save money and it was a complete waste of my time.overall i am very happy with my purchase and know i will have and use this product for a long time.get off the fence and just buy one.

The perfect tablet for children
I live in the US and my little sister lives in the Caribbean. I wanted to get her a tablet, but I was very wary of what could go wrong (the internet is dark and filled of terrors). The iPad has amazing parental controls and through the family settings, I can control:What she has access to,Who has access to her,What apps she can download,and for how long she has access to certain apps on the iPad.This was the best purchase ever and I can sleep safely now!

Good for kids’ study and play
We got the iPad for our child to use for learning and some light gaming. The screen size is just right for educational apps and reading, and the device runs smoothly without lag.The parental controls are handy for setting limits and managing app access. Battery life is decent, lasting most of the day with regular use.The main downside is the limited storage space if you have many apps or videos. Also, it’s a bit fragile without a case, so a sturdy cover is a must.

Purchased this for my 8 month old to watch his shows. I got my 3yo an iPad when she was a newborn. In my opinion that help with cognitive development and speech sending she is always complimented on by other parents with how well she speaks and how smart she is. I love it.
I’ve had an iPad Air (twice) and this is my third of the smaller iPads and a 9th generation. It replaces one that could not be updated to the iOS 16 meaning, as I am unhappy to report, I couldn’t read my NY Times App which requires the 16. I was able to immediately upgrade this new 9th generation iPad to iOS 18. I’m thrilled.

I always liked using my IPad. After many years of use, it finally stopped working. When I went to search for a new one I saw the one I bought. It was not the newest model but for what I use it for it was perfect. I use it to hear or watch the news. Also I use it for entertainment purposes. The IPad I bought is high quality at a great price.

Purchased my 5th iPad during an Amazon special. It is the best one yet. The graphics are crisp and bright. Took a couple hours to set up and I’m so happy with it. The battery life is outstanding and it seems more solid than previous iPads. Great decision on my part!

Update from 6th gen
I had a 6th gen 32g ipad and when the 9th gen 64g ipad dropped to $199 I made the move to upgrade. I will say that Apple makes the change to the newer ipad painless. You aim a camera at the other ipad and it transfers your data. The new ipad does everything the old one does. I am an email and browser user so no notice in performance difference. Was down tp 2 g available so the additional storage will help.

Great deal
These iPads are on sell so often at a great price. Honestly I don’t need the extra computing power of new iPads to browse the web or watch movies, this one is pretty fast already.One downside is the lightening outlet instead of usb c. Another is the 4:3 aspect ratio which leaves a lot of unused space (black bars) on 16:9 aspect movies.

Great Budget iPad
This discontinued model is an incredible value. I use an iPad for email, digital books, online reading/shopping, and playing music thru an Bluetooth speaker.Apple makes the best product and while this is not the newest version it suits my needs perfectly. The battery life has been great so far (I haven’t had to recharge often) I find the silver color very nice from an appearance standpoint.If you are looking for an everyday tablet you won’t find a better value than this one.

It works good, some features I don’t like just because theyre of no value.
It works good, once I got my Apple ID straightened out after 6 years. My original email was lost due to me not knowing how to recover it, that was also my Apple ID in my first iPad 8 years ago, customer service said there was nothing I could do. So I lived with it always skipping over it. Then when I got my new iPad I couldn’t set it up due to my ID being wrong. Finally after 2 service reps and spending 3 days in “Apple Jail” I got my ID changed. Apple needs to spend more time training the “telephone answerers” who claim to be customer service reps how to do their jobs. But the iPad is great.

iPad built for my purpose, home and travel.
Once charged, the start up was flawless. I was able to sinc to my iPhone and mirror all of my apps. My previous iPad was not functioning, so that wasn’t an option. The size, 10.2” is perfect for me and I look forward to using it as I travel, perfect for airplane streaming.
