una buena compra por el precio, la pantalla luce muy bien, el mini LED 10/10el teclado retroiluminado perfecto, puertos okay el thunderbolt ayuda mucho, aun que le haría bien otro usb c adicional.el lector de huellas funciona muy bien, los modos de energía que tiene tiene esta laptop ayudan mucho, solo que si quieres jugar tienes que tenerla conectada, si no, ocupa los gráficos del procesador y no de la dedicada.la bacteria es regular, no es perfecta pero para juegos si necesita estar conectada, si lo que quieres es ver videos o tareas la bateria dura alrededor de 5 hras.

Goood on paper but fails to perform
Laptop weights similar to a 15” the screen brightness is nice but iit keeps on dimming down. Lots of blotware and u need acer software to get decent sound, 7 hr battery and good fan noise at the expense of yoir ram. If u get 16gb u got free 4 to 5 gb of doing nothing just apps from acer and software. Device cannnot be upgrade. Ram is soldered. Also Rtx 4070 is not really and upgrade u might see 10 to 15 fps compare to a 4060. If u want actual upgrade get a laptop with 4080

Glitchy bios and severe power delivery issue make this laptop dead in the water
If you are gaming on this laptop and you disconnect the wall power, 9 times out of 10 it will forcibly switch to integrated graphics from the discrete gpu and wont switch back unless you restart the machine and sometimes it takes a few restarts for it to finally switch. this doesnt sound like that big of a deal but it is AWFUL for gaming. Ive tried setting the bios to discrete only, tried turning it to discrete only within nvidia control panel, tried downgrading bios, testing combinations of this for 2 weeks and nothing. I would not buy this laptop until they can confirm that this issue is solved as every other currently for sale laptop ive tried (asus zephyrus g14 & g16, lenovo legion slim 5, asus vivobooks) did not suffer from this gpu forced switching issue.I bought and returned 3 of these Acer Predator Triton 14 13700h RTX 4070 laptops and they all had the same issue. I was able to recreate this issue at a Micro center store on the display model as well so I imagine all of them suffer from this.

Compre esta laptop durante prime day por 26k pesos mexicanos, por ese precio es completamente imbatible y nada se le compara, aun con algo mas de precio vale mucho la pena.Lo mejor:-El rendimiento, sin ser absolutamente tope de gama en CPU/GPU para el tamaño que tiene es un monstruo, las RTX 4070 normalmente se encuentran en laptops mucho mas grandes y pesadas y tener el mismo rendimiento en formato pequeño es un plus, no creo que sea viable poner componentes mas potentes (y con mucho mas consumo) en un cuerpo tan pequeño, ya es top como esta.-La versatilidad: esta laptop es muy ligera y pequeña, gracias al tamaño y a la potencia la puedes llevar facilmente en una mochila, pesa poco y cuando este desconectada usar como laptop para productividad o cosas ligeras, conectada para juegos, es todo terreno y tengo entendido que soporta cargadores USB C de unos 90w, aunque no he podido probarlo-La calidad de construccion: esta laptop es casi completamente aluminio lo cual no es comun en laptop aun mucho mas caras, la calidad de construccion sin llegar a los niveles de macbook esta muy bien, ya podrian aprender otras marcas, que es una verguenza que laptops gamer de mucho mas precio tengan cuerpo mayormente de plastico-El lector de huella y el teclado: otra cosa que normalmente no hay en laptops gamer (y menos a ese precio) me parece un punto a favor, el teclado sin ser una maravilla es bastante bueno y tiene iluminacion por tecla (no por zona), algo igualmente poco comun en laptops gamer de este precio-La pantalla: Con miniled, una resolucion muy alta y HDR es una maravilla que ya quisieran laptops mucho mas caras, se ve excelente y llega a niveles casi de un macbook, la mejor pantalla no OLED del mercado, y con G Sync ufff, no podria pedir masLo peor:Que no se pueda ampliar la RAM: Tal vez sea por el tamaño que no permite slots DDR5 normales, pero la RAM esta soldada Y no es reemplazable, 16gb empiezan a ser normalitos y eso limita mucho la vida util de la laptop de aqui a unos años (y seguramente la descarta completamente patra ciertas tareas que requieran gran cantidad de memoria) una lastima que aqui no se venda la version de 32gb que si haria mucha falta, al menos el SSD SI es reemplazable…La velocidad del puerto microsd: al principio me emocione al saber que tenia puerto micro sd ya que es facil ampliar la memoria y meter mas juegos y cosas, pero el puerto es bastante lento, me da velocidades de 12mb/s en memorias micro sd buenas de samsung, no me quiero imaginar como seria con memorias mas normales, es un puerto para musica y videos, y aun asi apenas alcanza para eso…La bateria: sin ser mala esperaba que durara mas por 76w, unas 3 o 4 horas en ofimatica y web dependiendo de los settings que le pongas, una bateria de 80w haria que mejorara algo el tiempo y yo creo que el tamaño/peso seguiria sin ser problema, por supuesto olvidate de jugar algo que no sea 2d en bateria, la laptop no esta hecha para eso (como casi todas las laptop gamer)El ruido: la laptop hace bastante ruido de ventilador en juegos, y aun en tareas sencillas en el modo rendimiento hace un pequeño siseo que podria resultar molesto, yo me acostumbre pero hay gente que podria encontrarlo muy molesto o insoportableLa salida de video USB C no esta conectada a la GPU: En otras laptops gamer que he tenido con mux switch en modo de solo GPU dedicada puedes conectar un monitor externo y hacer que este monitor este conectado directamente a la GPU para tener mejor rendimiento y activar G Sync/freesync, pues en esta laptop no, usar el modo de solo GPU dedicada DESACTIVA la salida de video por USB C (y te avisa por un mensaje) asi que el G sync solo funciona en la pantalla de laptop , es algo que nunca habia visto en ninguna otra laptop y no se si es por alguna limitacion tecnica, es una decepcion bastante grande para gamers mas hardcore, para el usuario normal no hay tanto problema, tal cual viene se puede conectar a monitores por USB C (o HDMI), pero como usa optimus y el monitor lo controla la dedicada de intel no tendra el maximo rendimiento en juegos (si no entendiste muy bien lo que comente no deberia preocuparte en absoluto)En resumen es una excelente laptop, tiene caracteristicas muy top que se encuentran en modelos mucho mas caros a precio contenido, yo la compre en oferta pero aun valdria la pena si valiera 32k, aun por ese precio no hay casi nada mejor.Recomiendo actualizar a la ultima bios de acer desde la pagina web en cuanto la tengan en las manos, las actualizaciones de bios son importantes y especialmente esta ya que mejora el soporte en las ultimas versiones de W11.

Great Value
Everything was fine , laptop is pretty good for its price. Has 0 problems with cooling , my advice is to get a stand for it so it can get enough airflow . The only thing that wasn’t perfect is the packaging . Had few scratches on the outside , but the laptop its self was fine. A bit noisy when in turbo mode . Gaming is smooth. Fast and cool looking laptop . Perfect for travelling while having fast laptop . Battery is fine in eco mode .

Overall, this is really the best price for this setting. 2K screen, aluminium, rtx4070 etc.Fans are perfect, you can press a button and select “mode” for your laptop. Very useful.BUT.Touchpad wasn’t working in my laptop. This is ridiculous! I brought my laptop to technic master and the problem was in cable which wasn’t connected. Also assembly are really good, but why they did such a big mistake in assembly. Tech support wasn’t great, the advice me to “google problem” or gave advice such as: press f10 to turn on touchpad, may be this ok but I have explained everything in my first message (I can add a script with dialogue).Summary:I totally recommend you to buy this laptop. I am AI engineer and I like this enough powerful laptop in this size. Be ready to small problems like I had. Thanks a lot.

Not for gaming
Very well made and it looks very good but is it worth the price? On low settings any game I played always lagged. It appears to start lagging after it starts heating up. It gets extremely hot during game play. My suggestion is it is very good for simply operations but games like call of duty is not one of them.

Good overall laptop, but is not perfect
I got the 14″ 4070 version, the pros are the screen is beautiful 1440p 250hz, HDR, the keyboard is the best part, looks gorgeous, great tactile feedback, good boot up times and the fingerprint scanner adds versatility.You can pretty much game on high – ultra at 1440p and stay above 60 fps, or if you want more fps, you can lower the resolution at 1080p and get even more fps.Things I don’t like:- Poor battery life: If you tune the settings, you can get at most 2 hours of battery, and if you like to get more performance on the go, you can probably get 1 hour and 20 mins.- Gets really hot: when gaming, the aluminum under screen and the center of the keyboard can get so hot that sometimes you can not place your hand or fingers for too long.

Al precio de promoción que adquirí esta belleza de maquina nada que objetar, pantalla LED, 4070rtx, material de alumino, buen software para el manejo de los niveles de energía, buen soporte técnico que permite atención en otros paises si estás de viaje, entiendo que en un tamaño de 14 pulgadas es complicado tener espacio para poder upgradear, para cuando los 32GB sean un estandar probablemente ya hayan pasado varios años y estés buscando una nueva renovación, hasta ese entonces esta máquina tranquilamente debe cumplir y superar tus expectactivas. El Cyberpunk es una belleza jugarlo a 2k con RT y varios efectos en ultra-altos todo a más de 60fps, el dlss y path traycing es una maravilla.

This was a gift but I ended up keeping it for myself and bought the 4060 oled legion slim 5 14.5 inch for $1k as a gift. Honestly, I prefer the legion slim. Oled is way nicer than microled and 4060/4070 have no noticable difference in performance but the legion runs with much lower temps and noise. I enjoy both laptops. Never buy a laptop at full price when they regularly have 30% off sales.

Great specs, terrible software
I have built several of my own desktop PC’s but needed something for travel so I bought this laptop on Prime day at a fantastic deal. The Triton 14 has great specs for what I was looking for so I was excited to receive this laptop. The laptop came undamaged in perfect new condition so there were no external factors that caused issues. I get the laptop set up – install windows, etc. and the laptop automatically downloads third party Acer and “Predator Sense” software. I understand many laptops come with these kinds of software so it was not unexpected. The biggest issues with the laptop is the crashing/randomly turning off, the USELESS Predator Sense software, and that the device manager does not even detect the 4070 graphics card so you cannot download the NVIDIA geforce drivers, forcing you to use the Intel integrated graphics. Predator Sense is a 3rd party software app that allows you to customize certain settings such as the lighting on the keyboard and also manages settings like the turbo overclocking mode. The Predator Sense software also brings in a plethora of issues:-Backlit keyboard not working properly: the lighting does not work with the Windows dynamic lighting settings. To fix, you need to turn off Windows dynamic lighting and then go in the task manager and prioritize the Predator Sense and Acer lighting software. Even after doing this, the Predator Sense software is so buggy you cannot fully customize the lighting.-Issues with Turbo mode only working on Administrator profiles or not overclocking the GPU – oh wait, the laptop couldn’t even detect a GPU!-Regardless of what anyone says, Predator Sense does run in the background and can impact performance.-Predator Sense sometimes showing blank tabs and screens while using the app, which you have to uninstall the software and go to the Acer website and reinstall an OLD version of the software to fix.Those are just some of the issues with Predator Sense. My laptop randomly crashed 3 times and turned off while using it on 70% and on full battery just browsing the Firefox browser, and would not turn on via the power button unless it was plugged into the charger. Even then, booting up the laptop after it turns off is a bit slow and makes it hard to believe that the laptop has a 1TB SSD.Naturally, after my laptop crashed the first 2 times I thought it was caused by Predator Sense, so I uninstalled the software and the laptop still worked fine without it. But after the laptop crashed for a 3rd time even after Predator Sense was uninstalled, I made up my mind to return the product.Save yourself some time and do not buy this laptop if you are a gamer or graphics designer! You will waste so much time setting up this laptop only to come across a bunch of issues that make you wish you never bought it in the first place.
