A Beast of a MacBook
What can I say about the MacBook Pro that you haven’t probably heard? Not much. It’s a beast that has enough horsepower for just about anything you want to do with the right spec upgrades. It’s just excellent, the latest in quite a lineup of outstanding Apple products. It’s perfect for creatives as well as anyone else looking. If you have the M1, it’s beyond time to upgrade!

Works excellent
Great product, a big improvement over my previous 2014 MacBook. The keyboard feels crisp, graphics are providing very good contrast. New features on the mouse pad needed getting used to but after a few weeks it feels natural. Haven’t been able to get it getting running hot while working, interval cooling seems to be better design than previously.

100% garbage
This MacBook is an absurdly overpriced piece of hardware that fails to deliver even the basic functionality one would expect from a premium laptop. Not only does it struggle to hold a charge, making it less reliable for everyday use, but the inability to download files from Microsoft Outlook onto the hard drive is nothing short of infuriating, rendering it almost useless for professionals reliant on seamless integration with essential software. Moreover, Apple’s aggressive censorship of product reviews online speaks volumes about their unwillingness to address consumer dissatisfaction, while their notoriously difficult-to-reach customer support offers little more than empty platitudes rather than real solutions.Apple also uses slave labor in China to manufacture their garbage products – you would never know that from their over the top diverse product promotions and commercials where every single type of person being is represented except for, you know, a normal person.

I purchased the BASE MODEL MacBook Pro M3. Amazon had an excellent price. Delivery was flawless. Will use it for online meetings, e-commerce, web surfing, etc. Like the added connectivity ports of the Pro. Especially the HDMI output for external monitor. A lovely Apple product!

Pretty good overall!
I brought this MacBook to replace my old Intel MacBook and it’s a pretty good computer. Arrived after three days and I had to give a passcode I received from email to the person delivering it. Thankfully, the computer was in the package and wasn’t damaged. I was worried I might have been scammed due to purchasing a 1k computer but overall I had a good experience with the delivery.

amazing, solid travel laptop for photographers and business
For years while working in government I used Apple Macbooks but didn’t want to spend the money on them for my own private use. Starting a good 10 years ago I converted over, and my life really is much simpler: Iphone synchs to my macbook and I love the sturdiness of the iwatch, that survives no matter what I’m doing, be it swimming, hiking, the gym, etc. So, I’m into travel photography and go all over the world so needed a small relatively lightweight computer to take with me, and decided on the macook pro 13 inch (upgraded 3 years ago to the m1 chip 13 inch, and now the 2023 m3 chip 1 tbssd laptop.My 2021 macbook is working fine, and the cycle count is under 500, but regardless, after three years I wanted to get a newer version. Amazon has an Asurion 4 year drops/spills warranty for only $189 so I’ll be getting that as well.There is not much to say about macbooks except they are so user friendly, intuitive, built like tanks (I dropped mine at a local airport 3 years ago and it never stopped working). The speed of the m1 chip was very fast and now the m3 chip is 30% or so faster. My plan for video work is to get the M3 pro 16inch with a terabyte of ssd as my editing station at home and travel with the 14 inch version. Thanks to Amazon for a great delivery and carefully making sure that this laptop was in good working order. I can’t speak highly enough for how generous Amazon is to its customers.

This laptop replaced my old but still running 2007 MacBook Pro. I am so impressed by the upgrades to the Battery life, performance, processing speed, screen, and sound system. My only regret is that I didn’t get a larger screen as I will be using this as my primary work computer. Another happy MacBook user.

Another MacBook that does not disappoint.
I have used Mac products for over 30 years. This is my 4th MacPro/MacBook laptop. My first one was when I was as a teacher and then I decided to buy one for myself. At the time it , was much more expensive than any other laptop, but the one I had before was not a Mac and I always got viruses.This one was also more expensive than other ones I was looking at. I’m retired now so I don’t need a laptop that much except for personal use. After looking at others, I went back and said I’m going to splurge again and buy myself another MacBook. My last one lasted me over eight years.I love that it syncs with all of my other Apple products. I have it set up so I can get my text messages when I am on my laptop and I can make my phone callsMy last laptop died suddenly. That’s when I decided not to get it fixed but get a new one and then if necessary, I would transfer all the data. If had to go to somebody, I would’ve done that.Once I put my Apple ID in ,the laptop synced with my older laptop, that was next to it. I think most of the stuff has been transferred at least the important stuff. I haven’t used it very long and I haven’t had the time to check all of my documents, but it was so nice not to worry about losing everything when the old laptop died.One of the nicest features is the keyboard. The keys are easy to touch and are very clear. There are no sticky buttons you can tell these are much better quality than some of the cheaper laptops.The battery is great. It lasts a very long time. I can go all day long with having it on and going on it most of the day and still have a good percentage of my battery left at night. It also charges up very quickly.I love my new MacBook Pro!

Easy to buy and set up
I purchased this to replace my old MacBook Pro. It was so easy to buy on Amazon at a good price, came and promised, and set-up & transfer of my information to this new computer was very easy. I’m very happy with it….and the battery life is awesome. Instead of charging a couple times a day – now I need to charge every few days! That’s a huge change. Love it.

Disappointed in the screen
I was looking to upgrade from my M2 Air. I looked at the M3 Pro in a store and was impressed with the screen — it was vivid, crisp, and bright. But the Pro I received from Adorama was not impressive. Side by side with my Air, the screen was actually dimmer, with a distinct grey-ish tint. The Air’s screen was better, which makes no sense in light of the specs of the M3 Pro.Given that the screen was not an upgrade, keeping the Pro made no sense — it is significantly heavier and thicker. I returned it.

I love how long the battery lasts, as a college student I don’t want to be lugging my charger around with me all day and I find that this laptop has a lasting battery . The video quality is crystal clear , I do watch movies , while studying and I can’t commend it enough ! The reason for the 4 star is for when it turns my screen black for no reason at all so watch out for that … had to learn to trouble shoot that .

I had to replace my old MacBook Pro and this fit the bill. The screen size and clarity are great. Now, dealing with Amazon was the only issue. I ordered one and three days later, payment had not processed. So I called Amazon and after being transferred around, they said it was because it was not it stock. Bologna! I cancelled my original order and reordered two minutes later. Lo and behold, it was in stock. It said signature would be required for delivery. No problem. Except they pushed the delivery date out one day. So I had to cancel my appointments to make sure I was here to sign for it. I met the UPS delivery person at the door. He was just going to leave it by my front steps! Said no signature was required. I’m sorry, but if I am ordering a $1400 item, I expect a required signature, not just leaving it on the steps like a $25 item.Shame on Amazon!

Brand new M3 MacBook Pro can’t do what my 12-year old MacBook Pro can do
I like to keep computers running for as long as possible but recently I decided I should finally move on from my mid-2012 Mac Book Pro that is stuck several OS versions behind. I agonized over which version to get for weeks. I am a software engineer and need a beefy computer for my work… but my job always provides me with a laptop. I finally decided that I don’t do enough personal software development to worry too much about getting a top-of-the-line computer and ordered this one.I took my time copying things from my old machine and finally (after the short return window) got around to plugging the new laptop into my work desk setup: external keyboard and mouse and dual external monitors. This machine has three video ports: two Thunderbolt ports and an HDMI port…. BUT IT WILL ONLY DRIVE ONE OF THEM AT A TIME. I can use either of my external monitors and plug them into any of the three ports but only the first one plugged in will work. I verified this via Apple’s online docs: https://support.apple.com/en-us/101571.My 12-year old Mac will drive both of these monitors just fine, but my brand-spanking new M3 won’t do it because I didn’t order the “MacBook Pro Pro”. I kid you not. You have to know to order a Pro Pro. The Pro Max is the uber-hotrod. I guess the Pro Pro is just making sure that you are really a Pro and not just pretending (just one “Pro”).Also ironic: I could have gotten the Pro Pro for the exact same price as my new Pro if I just lived with a half TB drive instead of a 1 TB. If I want a Pro Pro with 1 TB drive I have to shell out an additional $444!! You can buy a 1 TB NVMe SSD for around $50! Hell, I can get a 1 TB thumb drive for $20!Apple has lost their way. They’ve gone down the SoC rabbit hole and do a terrible job of explaining what a given CPU combo can or can’t do… and you are stuck with it forever once you get it. No upgrades are possible. They make them disposable just like their terrible phones.I will live with only being able to have a single external monitor with this computer but I will never buy another Apple product again as long as I live. I am beyond aggravated.
